Thank you for another great article in the Janu-ary 2014 issue, the one on the Select Sector strategy using State Street Global Advisors SPDRs (Outperform The Market With Sector ETFs by Todd D. Winkler and Steven A. Winkler). However, when I try to access year-end results from the State Street website, it doesnt allow me entry.
Can you provide percentage results for 2013 or advise what is needed to obtain the data another way? In the future, Ill be sure to accumulate data monthly myself.
Also, I wonder how this strategy would work on the sell in May and go away strategy? That could be interesting! Thanks so much for your help.

If youre having trouble using the State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) website (www.ssga.com), simply go to a site such as NASDAQ.com, where you can easily download data in spreadsheet form. You can then quite easily calculate yearly returns from that.
